Course Overview

This course is designed for learners who want to build practical skills in beauty care, skin care, hair dressing, makeup, grooming, and salon-based self-employment. The course focuses on hands-on service ability, hygiene, client consultation, beauty tools, product knowledge, bridal services, customer handling, and small salon setup.

Learners will gain industry-ready confidence to work in salons, assist beauty professionals, offer home-based services, start freelance beauty work, or build their own small beauty and grooming business.

Module 2: Skin Care & Basic Beauty Services

  • Cleansing, toning, moisturizing, scrubbing, steaming, and face massage basics
  • Facial procedure, clean-up method, bleach application, and face pack selection
  • Acne, pigmentation, tanning, dryness, oily skin, and sensitive skin awareness
  • Threading, waxing, eyebrow shaping, and hair removal safety
  • Manicure, pedicure, nail cleaning, hand care, foot care, and after-care guidance


Module 3: Hair Care, Hair Dressing & Styling

  • Hair structure, scalp hygiene, hair types, and common hair concerns
  • Hair wash, conditioning, oiling, head massage, and hair spa procedure
  • Blow drying, ironing, curling, sectioning, backcombing, and basic styling
  • Basic hair cutting concepts, trimming, layer awareness, and face-shape suitability
  • Bridal hair styling, use of pins, accessories, sprays, rollers, and styling tools


Module 4: Makeup, Draping & Beauty Presentation

  • Introduction to makeup products, brushes, tools, shades, and skin preparation
  • Day makeup, party makeup, HD look basics, and long-stay makeup awareness
  • Foundation matching, concealing, contouring, highlighting, blush, and lip shaping
  • Eye makeup, eyeliner, mascara, kajal, eyebrow filling, and false lash basics
  • Bridal makeup basics, saree draping styles, dupatta setting, and final look presentation


Module 5: Advanced Beauty Services & Product Knowledge

  • Advanced facial service awareness, skin glow services, and premium beauty add-ons
  • Hair coloring basics, root touch-up awareness, smoothening and rebonding introduction
  • Mehndi designing, nail art basics, polish application, and simple decorative styles
  • Beauty product ingredients, product selection, expiry checking, and patch test awareness
  • Client safety, contraindications, allergy awareness, and professional after-care advice


Module 6: Salon Entrepreneurship & Professional Growth

  • Starting home-based beauty services, freelance work, and small salon setup
  • Service menu creation, pricing, package planning, and bridal booking process
  • Customer care, client retention, appointment handling, and feedback collection
  • WhatsApp promotion, Instagram portfolio, local networking, and referral marketing
  • Professional ethics, record keeping, service hygiene checklist, and business growth planning


Assessment Pattern

Assessment will focus mainly on practical ability, oral understanding, client handling, hygiene, and service demonstration.

  • Service Demonstration: facial, threading, waxing, manicure, pedicure, hair styling, and makeup
  • Oral Assessment: skin types, hair types, product usage, hygiene, safety, and after-care
  • Client Consultation Role Play: greeting, concern identification, service advice, and feedback handling
  • Makeup & Hair Presentation: complete look creation with explanation
  • Salon Hygiene Check: tools, workstation, product arrangement, and sanitation method
  • Self-Employment Viva: pricing, service menu, client promotion, and home salon planning
  • Final Evaluation: combined practical performance, oral clarity, confidence, grooming, discipline, and client service behavior
