Industry Alignment

This course is designed according to the current demand for trained nursery and pre-primary educators. The National Education Policy 2020 gives strong importance to Early Childhood Care and Education and introduces the Foundational Stage as a key part of school education. The National Curriculum Framework for Foundational Stage 2022 focuses on children aged 3 to 8 years and promotes play-based, activity-based, flexible and child-centred learning. NIPUN Bharat also highlights foundational literacy and numeracy as the base for future learning. (Education Government of India)



Course Objective

The objective of this 12-month course is to prepare students to become confident, caring, creative and practical nursery-level educators who can understand young children, manage pre-primary classrooms, conduct joyful learning activities, prepare teaching aids, communicate with parents and support the overall development of children.


Learning Outcomes

After completing this course, students will be able to:

  3. Handle nursery and pre-primary children with patience and confidence.

  4. Apply play-way, Montessori-inspired and activity-based teaching methods.

  7. Teach early literacy, numeracy, colors, shapes, patterns and basic social habits.

  8. Manage classroom discipline, safety, hygiene and daily routines.


Month 1: Introduction to Nursery Teacher Training
